Program Details

This program will be implemented in India and is sponsored by your generous contributions and in cooperation with Mahavir Vision, Inc., USA, (MVI), International School for Jain Studies, New Delhi, India (ISJS) and Bhagwan Aadinath Vidyaniketan,a Jain religious and Educational Institution in Aligarh, India.

Under this program, a team of trusted, caring, and experienced professionals from the Jain community will carefully select the neediest and deserving children (boys).

Note: due to certain special needs and safety considerations, at this stage, the program is for boys only. We will diligently try to collaborate with similar institutions in India that cater to girls only.

The boys will be approximately 13 years in age and will be enrolled in reputed and high quality private Higher Secondary Schools in Class IX. The boys will receive education from grade IX-XII. Currently the children will be staying at and attending the Bhagwan Aadinath Vidyaniketan School. During and after the XIIth grade, the boys will be encouraged to seek admissions in Higher Education (Universities) and in Professional Institutes in Engineering, Medicine, or Law
etc.

Out of this selected pool, each boy will be assigned to a donor/support family (to be called Foster Parents). The Foster family will be sent full particulars of the boy (with a photo, address, contact details, email address, background etc). This data will be updated every six months by Bhagwan Aadinath Vidyaniketan.

The Foster family/individual will have complete freedom and access to communicate with and meet with the boy, spend some time with him, take him out on vacations, visits to India, picnics, weekends, during holidays at the request and convenience of Bhagwan Aadinath Vidyaniketan, the School, and the Foster family.

Bhagwan Aadinath Vidyaniketan.will provide timely progress reports, photos, and class scores to the foster parents. Beyond High School (grade XII), the Foster family is at full liberty to support this child, as long as they wish and thus develop life long relationships.

Note: the closeness of the foster family – student relationship is at the discretion of the foster family
